awkward business cards ahoy!

Today I'm business cardifying myself. These are just just a couple of the experiments I've been doing. With these I wanted to see how minuscule I could make the type with it still being legible. I probably wont continue with this idea because visually impaired people might collect my business card and become confused and enraged while trying to read the small text. The visually impaired are not to be trifled with.

WEBSITE! going live in 2 weeks

*hopes*
revamped the look of it and i'm much happier with it now.it's based on a five column grid that should fit most monitors. i'm planning to develop a mobile version asap.

please click the photos and have yourself a better look in lightbox mode :)
please be aware that my spelling and grammar is not up to scratch and i still need to check through the site.will make websites for anyone that pays me: email me here

index(home) page

contact is located in footer as well as in my "profile" section. the contact link is all jscript smooth scrolly and flies up from the bottom when you press the navbar button (works on any page of the website)

did a lil copyright information page which opens if you click the link next to the contact. feel free to plagiarise and paraphrase what i wrote, thats essentially how i formed the text. (from lots of official sounding sources)

Costa Foundation poster

Working on a poster for a local Costa Foundation  charity event! A 10 mile barefoot walk (absolute madman, but it's for a good cause!) inspired by John Mary Kyalanyi who walked 17 kilometers with his mother to see the Headmaster of Onwards & Upwards School, Uganda. John told the headmaster he wanted an education more than anything else, but his parents were far too poor to pay the tuition fees. The headmaster was moved by his commitment & confidence and invested in John's future via the schools bursary scheme.

Might doodle a couple of footprints on that pathway though...

It's called "Mike Beet: Sore Feet", mikebeet being the name of the guy doing the walk. I thought of the name,  which was a (rare) stroke absolute genius by me... ;) heh heh. PEACE

rekerjiggered the whole shebang !

Today I'm cooking pasta. Butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, tomato sauce stuff, basil and some of those potato things that aren't potatos. Sweet potatoes? Delicious.

Here's a cheeky peek of my website revamp. The text under the lines at the bottom whizzes up from down south once youve scrolled through all of my work and floats over the nav bar and stuff to make it look all important and emphasized. Wowee! Fantastic, right? Inventing little bits and bobs like that makes webdesign proper interesting If only I was more knowledgeable in the ways of the force (jscript) then I could have some REAL fun. Baby steps...practice makes perfect...yadda yadda.. thanks for reading, have a good afternoon!
